The Chicago Sun-Times reports on Naomi and Nannette Beckley, twin valedictorians from the South Side's Gwendolyn Books College Prep. They are headed to Yale and Princeton on a full scholarship from the Gates Foundation in the fall. Both young women took part in the Office of Civic Engagement's high school preparation programs -- Naomi in the Collegiate Scholars Program, and Nannette in the Office of Special Program-College Prep's STEM initiative.
